I’ve done all those and more. Do a little research and you’ll find that from inventors to athletes, those we esteem as the greatest achievers have failed many, many times. They miss shots; don’t figure it out the first time; experience personal blunders and short comings…but they keep going. They get up. They practice it again. They try it a little different this time. Then, the recipe for boomsauce is perfected. Then the light bulb is invented and champions are made.
We all fail from time to time. Why does that have to be bad? Like Ghandi implied… Make it glorious!
“Heroes are made in the hour of defeat. Success is, therefore, well described as a series of glorious defeats.” – Gandhi
Have you ever experienced a truly glorious defeat?
